Advanced Microcontroller

For ages: 9 and above

In this programme, students will learn about different sustainability goals or any set theme and make use of design thinking to create a prototype/solution that attempts to solve the problem.

They will learn the different processes of design thinking:

  • Empathise
  • Define (the problem)
  • Ideate
  • Prototype
  • Test

What the students will learn:

  • Understand about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Build prototype/solutions to address issues relating to the SDGs
  • Brainstorm and derive solution with design thinking and computational thinking
  • Learn how STEM is applied using sensors, actuators, robotics and coding
  • Discover different components in a circuit and understand its functions before applying them to their prototypes/solutions
  • Present and articulate their ideas and their prototype/solution
